Jag har ett luddigt minne* av att ha läst om att austronauterna på 60-70-talet filmade med någon slags, av NASA, specialbeställd filmkamera för 3mm film. Detta var ju innan det fanns små smidiga videocamcorders som idag.

 

Är det någon som vet mer? Har inte lyckats googla mig till så mycket mer än det här.

Men jag är nyfiken på vad fördelen var och varför man valde detta udda format och inte t ex S-8.

"This format was used by the US Air Force in the 1960's. It was slit from wider material, center perforated, and loaded into cameras on prototype fighter airplanes for documenting aircraft performance. This format made it possible to film a whole test flight with a single load of film - changing the film in the middle of an intricate air maneuver would have been slightly awkward... "
