The Pearl of Wisdom is an epic swashbuckler film, set during the Age of Reason (1600-1800). The film presents privateers and maroons who turn into outlaw pirates - in the conflict between British and French Empire over overseas territories in the New World... At the end of the day...ALL... tumblingly boils down to one nature... LIFE... as a reflection of the choices the characters have already made...

All set constructions - to resurrect Tortuga (Cap Français) and 18th-century Paris, including Bastille citadel, the Gold Coast, the Barbary Coast, frigate/privateer/Barbary ships Black Gold ships, White Gold merchant ships, etc...
If you are a casting agent, perhaps it won't please you to read beyond this point.
We have limited finance to create this glamorous world of fascination and surprises - so we decide to spare the casting-agency money to further embellish the art direction and production design of the film.
However, all cast and crew roles are good paid!

By "sun tannable" we mean the brown colour produced by the skin after intensive exposure to ultraviolet rays (sun) without burning - that you will not become severely burnt while shooting in the sun, causing delay and waste of production time and budget.
